The Ddd Travel Company has its head office in Vientiane the Capital of Laos, (Lao PD R), and branch in Luang Prabang and Champasak (Pakse). Laos Has borders with Thailand, Burma, China, Vietnam and Cambodia, The Mekong River runs 1800 km down the west side of Laos.

The travel side of the business was the idea of its current managing director, who is well travelled and felt that the service he was often given was lacking in many respects. He also feels as a seasoned traveller that Laos has a lot to offer the world with its amazing culture, two climates of weather, low level, warm and pleasant and high level almost European style. Laos is also known for its fantastic unspoiled scenery, charming people and has a wonderful history to be explored. Laos was once a colony of France and still has much to see in architecture, coffee and tea plantations, wine and fresh baked baggets.

UNESCO have created a World Heritage Site at Luang Prabang, which is situated in northern Laos, many other world organisations are also on the ground creating a fabulous environment for tourists, Trekking, Mountain Biking and Water sports are in abundance.

Managing Director Mr Phouthasinth Saythirath ( Mino - Second Right ).

Phouthasinth was born in Laos, but completed is education in Australia where he graduated with honours. The travel company is his pride and joy. He insists that the quality and service his team provide to customers is of the highest standards at all times.

All staff recruited for the company, had to have had many years of travel trade experience and show their knowledge of the travel industry was at the highest level not only for Laos but across the world.

Phouthasinth also insists that the team know all owners of the hotels and transportation services used, personally and only uses companies with the best reputation. Being a local successful businessman, he knows personally many people and is held in high regard. The tailor made tour service offered by Ddd Travel is used by many travel companies around the globe as it has a reputation for safety, security and customer satisfaction.

Deputy Managing Director Mme Manoloth Chounlamany ( Manoloth ). In the Center

Mme Manoloth is regarded as one of the pioneers for tourism in Laos, for many years she worked for the Laos Government in the Tourism Department and responsible for promoting the country as a tourist hot spot to the world. She has also been promoting international standards within the country to hotels and service providers helping to create a safe and secure industry that customers really appreciate and enjoy the benefits of.

Manoloth has over 16 years experience in the tourism industry, both at national and international levels, she has also worked for Dithelm Travel as their French speaking reservation specialist, she is fluent in French and English.

Manoloth controls the day to day running of the company making sure that the standards she helped to establish in the Government tourism office are equalled or if not exceeded by all staff at Ddd Travel Laos.

All inquires and booking reservations for French nationals and French speaking people are handled by Manoloth who is only to happy to spend time with you on the phone or by email to make sure you have all the information you need, when you need it.

In Laos, Manoloth is regarded as one of the top professionals in Asia for tourism and is also appreciated across the globe for the help and time she is prepared to give customers.

General Manager Mr Ounnaline Phannavanh ( Nou ).

Qunnaline, is a Graduate in Tourism and Hotel Management from Laos National University. Prior to joining Ddd Travel he was working with Dithelm Travel in their specialist tailor made tours department.

He very quickly understands his customers requirements and very able to communicate their wishes directly to hotels, tour guides and transport.

His personal knowledge of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam is unsurpassed and can recommend outstanding places to visit and those special events not to miss, as he has been and seen just about everything in the region.

Ounnaline speaks fluent English and can communicate in other languages, he always makes sure everything is in the right place, conformations of booking have been received and all staff have completed their work before anyone leaves the office, customer service and the happiness of his customers is paramount.

Reservations Manager Ms Dokkeo Phimmanosack ( Dokkeo ).

Dokkeo is another very experienced member of the Ddd Travel team, a Graduate in Tourism and Hotel Management from Laos National University.

She has two positions within the company first her role is Reservations Manager, due to very strong ability to organise and communicate with staff and customers.

Dokkeo is also the company Training Manager and set standards within the company to that of International levels for our customers. Prior to joining DDD travel she worked for four years at Dithelm Travel where she proved herself in her ability to organise and deliver her customer requirements.

Marketing Manager Mr Somdy Manivong

Somdy graduated from the University of Laos in Marketing, his role with the company is to promote the Tailor Made Tour Services offered by Ddd Travel Laos to fellow Travel Companies around the world. He has a vast knowledge of the area and is able to provide any information our customers may require, in brochure format, email or on the telephone.

Somdy, also works closely with our tour guides and sets the standards they much reach in order to make sure all of our customers have a safe and happy stay with us.
